Regina Police arrested a 27-year-old man Monday night after he threatened them with an air soft gun.
Shortly before midnight officers were investigating an abandoned stolen car on the 1500 block of Cameron Street, when they were approached by the man who began to verbally challenge them.
The suspect then pointed the air soft rifle at officers, who said the gun had a real appearance to it.
After a brief struggle police disarmed the man and arrested him.
Michael Blueeyes who had five warrants for his arrest is now facing charges that include assaulting a police officer with a firearm and breach of probation.
Blueeyes makes his first court appearance Monday morning.
