Parts of Moose Jaw were hammered by an early morning storm Wednesday.
High winds, thunder and lightning hit the city around 3:00 a.m. with heavy rain and hail also coming down making it look like there is snow on the ground in many places.
Moose Jaw resident Liz Clairmont says there is noticeable damage this morning.
“There’s lots of debris from trees, and those seeds, everything is stuck to the house, the windows and walls, all the vehicles on the way to work were camouflaged,” she said.
Around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning Environment Canada issued severe thunderstorm warnings for the Assiniboia, Gravelbourg and Coronach regions as the storm tracked south.
Severe thunderstorms are also a possibility late in the day Wednesday for much of southern Saskatchewan including Regina.
