North Battleford’s Twin Rivers Curling Club will be a busy place this summer as the top rinks in the province in all divisions pay a visit.
The rink will now be considered as a high performance center for CurlSask in a move that executive director Ashley Howard says, will be big for the sport in our province moving forward when it comes to national events.
Howard says Saskatchewan is falling behind some other provinces when it comes to high-performance centres and now one is here.
“I think this will address a lot of the issues and give our teams the tools they need to get off to a hot start and compete right from day one of the curling season,” Howard said.
The club will also be used to train coaches within the province with many other programs being designed.
