Regina Police have arrested two people in connection with a break and enter incident on Friday.
Around 3:00 am on June 1st, officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of Crane Crescent to reports of a break and enter situation in progress. Upon arrival, a vehicle was seen fleeing at a high rate of speed. Attempts were made to stop the vehicle. However, the vehicle eluded police.
The vehicle was located on Dewdney near Pinkie a short time later. The pursuit resumed and the vehicle was successfully stopped after a tire deflation device was deployed on Toronto Street. The vehicle was then searched, where large amounts of stolen property from break and enters across Regina were found.
22 year old Brandon Pelletier is facing 11 criminal charges, including four counts of Break and Enter and Commit and three counts of Possession of Property Obtained By Crime under $5000.
19 year old Dustin Nelson faces 12 criminal counts, including five charges of Possession of Property Obtained By Crime under $5000.
Charges for both are from incidents between May 26th and June 1st. They will make their first court appearances on Monday, June 4th in provincial court.
An investigation into this is ongoing.
