It’s been a wet week in Saskatchewan and, for that matter, all across the Canadian Prairie.
According to Environment Canada’s Mark Melsness, it’s been especially bad in the southeastern portion of Saskatchewan.
“Amounts of rain fell pretty much from about 25-60 mm in Saskatchewan, southeastern Saskatchewan seemed to get the brunt of the rainfall.”
Melsness also said depending on where you were in the province, the amount of rain you see might differ from another area.
“The western area didn’t quite get as much out of the deal, Saskatoon ended up with nine millimetres, Regina ended up with 41,” he said.
Melsness noted the month of June is always a wet and fairly moist one on the prairies, with things drying out in the core summer months.
