A 19-year-old Regina woman is facing six charges in total after a foiled shoplifting incident on Monday night.
Around 8:00 p.m. police were called to the 900 block of Albert Street after store security caught here attempting to steal.
An altercation occurred and the woman pulled out a edged weapon, store security was able to take it away from her and she was then arrested by police without further incident.
Christin Oaks is now facing charges that include assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000 and obstructing a peace officer.
She’ll be in court in July.
