The Canada Farm Progress Show in Regina is expected to attract more than 40,000 visitors this week.
Manager Shirley Janeczko said the show features more than 650 exhibits, including a record 22 new innovations.
She noted the show generates a lot of domestic and foreign sales in the latest high tech farm equipment.
“We track the international sales that happen at our show,” she said. “They’re anywhere from 300 to 400 million dollars in sales at the International Business Centre at our show.”
According to Janeczko, more than 700 foreign visitors from 60 countries are expected to attend the 3-day show, which runs Wednesday through Friday at Evraz Place.
