A 32-year-old Regina man who shot two people at a Regina nightclub in April of 2016 was sentenced for his crime on Wednesday
Omar Haji-Hussein walked into the Pump on Victoria Avenue East early in the morning of April 29 and shot a man who had allegedly assaulted him. As Haji-Hussein was fleeing, he shot another man.
Haji-Hussein had initially been charged with attempted murder, but he pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault. He will spend the next five years behind bars.
