The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit have charged a Regina man Thursday morning with two child pornography related offences.
Back in January, the ICE unit which comprises of officers from RCMP, Regina Police, Saskatoon Police and Prince Albert Police, started their investigation of a person after someone began sharing pornographic images with children across the web.
ICE traced the location of the computer sharing the images to Regina.
After much investigation, police executed a search warrant for computer devices, electronic storage and cell phones.
Andrew Downing, 43, of Regina has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography among other charges.
He’s to appear in court next week.
