Regina Police have arrested three men in connection with an attempted murder on Saturday night.
Police received calls to the 1800 block of Greer Court around 7:21 pm yesterday regarding reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, units found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital, treated for injuries and released.
Police dogs led officers to two suspects on the 1400 block of Vaughn Street. They were arrested immediately. After attempts were made to negotiate the third suspect out of a property on that same block, SWAT & Crisis Negotiators came out to the scene, and around 2 am Canada Day, the suspect exited, at which time, he was taken into custody.
21 year old Joseph Littlecrow, 24 year old Donnelly Nanaquatung and 26 year old Derrick Pasap have all been jointly charged with attempted murder, discharging a firearm with intent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Pasap is also facing additional charges of a breach of undertaking and a probation order.
