Once cannabis becomes legal in Saskatchewan this fall, how will workers and the workplace be kept safe from marijuana impairment.
It is a question the provincial government is asking you.
They are seeking feedback from people on that issue. This comes just under a year after a government-run survey found that a majority of respondents believe more needs to be done to keep workers safe.
In a news release, Labour Minister Don Morgan says “Being impaired at work is unacceptable, dangerous and illegal and with the introduction of the Cannabis Act, we are examining current legislation and will be making changes to ensure the safety of all workers.”
Written submissions will be accepted until the end of August.
