It was a deadly weekend on Saskatchewan’s highways.
On Friday, a man was killed when his vehicle struck a power pole two kilometers west of Saint Brieux on Highway 779.
The collision remains under investigation.
Then around 7:00 p.m. Sunday night, a woman was pronounced dead on the scene of a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 16 and 651 at Theodore.
Police believe the two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection.
The two victims names and ages were not released.
Saint Brieux is about 170 kilometers northeast of Saskatoon, and Theodore is approximately 210 kilometers northeast of Regina.
Meanwhile, RCMP at Warman are reporting they’re on the scene of a serious two vehicle collision near Langham in the northbound lanes of Highway 16.
Northbound traffic is currently being diverted, we’ll have more information as it becomes available.
