Hard to believe it has come and gone already but Country Thunder Saskatchewan has wrapped up for another year. First off, hats off to all the volunteers, organizers, police, and fans for making this year’s event so much fun! I feel a little glum the weekend has passed by because now I have to cook again! Thanks to Noah’s Diner and Pizza Pizza for keeping us fed and watered as we did our shows from the Affordable Trailer Sales Broadcast Trailer on main street. It was a real treat.
This morning I woke up to moldy bread in my kitchen which meant no sandwiches for lunch today and apparently I ran out of milk last week which means I couldn’t have breakfast. Remember when your Mom would tell you not to put an empty container of milk back in the fridge? I understand that now! It’s a cruel trick grabbing the carton of milk and it’s empty! Looks like it’ll be a shopping night tonight.
A lot of great performances over the weekend, but the ones that stick out for me are the performers that one listened to growing up as kid because they bring back so many memories! For me, that meant the 90’s country artists who were there this weekend. Clay Walker, Tracy Lawrence, Collin Raye, Sammy Kershaw, and Aaron Tippin were the guys, as corny as it may sound, my Dad and I listened to in the grain truck during harvest time. A shout out to Jess Moskaluke, Lanco, Chris Janson, Chris Young, Luke Bryan, Midland, Big and Rich, The Good Brothers, Dean Brody, Dierks Bentley, Lindsay Ell, the Hunter Brothers, and everybody else for making this year so fun at Country Thunder 2018! Below are a few pics.
