Toronto police are still looking for answers as to why a man randomly started shooting people in the city on Sunday night.
When it was over, three people including the 29-year-old gunman were dead.
On Monday morning, police issued an update saying a 10-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman were killed in the attack.
In all, 16 people were shot. Of the 15 victims, eight were female ranging in age from 10-59.
Police would not speculate on a motive for the shooting.
“I can’t speak to what was in the individual’s mind,” said lead investigator Detective-Sergeant Terry Browne.
He said police are in the process of getting a search warrant in relation to the deceased suspect.
The name of the shooter is not being released at this time
