Canadian brothers Curtis and Brad Rempel of the group High Valley will be returning to their home country for a few shows this summer. One of their stops includes a performance at Raymore Summer Slam on August 5th. Opening their show is Saskatchewan’s Chris Henderson. High Valley has had a tremendous 2018 so far thanks to their first Academy of Country Music nomination this past March and their two CCMA nominations this month. They’re up for Group or Duo of the Year and Fans Choice at the awards show in Hamilton this coming September. We caught up with Curtis Rempel to find out how their summer is going and what’s new.
“Very shortly we’ve got a bunch of brand new music that we’re excited to expose to the world but we’re just getting started in the studio, so we definitely don’t have a date set but we’re excited to start recording this stuff and start preparing for album launch,” noted Rempel
He and his brother Brad hail from Le Crete in northern Alberta which is home to about 2,400 people. We talked about what Rempel misses most about home, hockey, and about their upcoming show in our interview which is available by CLICKING HERE.
