A 10-year-old boy is recovering after being hit while on his bicycle Tuesday afternoon.
Regina police say just after 5 PM, they were called to Winnipeg and 14th Avenue.
Upon arrival, they were told an SUV was heading east on 14th when the driver attempted to turn left on Winnipeg. A boy crossing the street on his bike was struck in the middle of the intersection.
The driver stopped at the scene while the boy was taken to hospital with injuries considered minor.
The driver of the SUV has been charged with failing to yield to the right of way of a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
