Regina entrepreneurs are getting together to help a local family remodel their home. Derek Wu and Brandon Fuchs are the co-founders of “build Love,” a movement to help the Kennedy family of Regina transform their home to help their 8 year old daughter get around easier.
“The family reached out for a standard quote on their bathroom and as myself and my business partner Trevor showed up on sight, Liana, the homeowner was quite transparent with the overview of the project at which point we met their daughter who has a congenital muscle disorder whose having logistical troubles getting from her bedroom to the current bathroom,” explained Wu.
Fuchs also viewed the place and soon jumped on board with Wu to help this family out because the renovation project provided many challenges due to the materials involved.
Fuchs, Wu, and their team have since been seeking donations, community partnerships, and volunteers to help make the Kennedy house for mobile friendly for their 8 year old daughter.
