Heat warnings have finally been issued for the City of Regina and surrounding areas.
For most of the week, a special weather statement was in effect due to the heat, but as of Thursday morning most of Saskatchewan, including Regina has been put under a heat warning.
Temperatures will be reaching as 38 degrees this weekend, with temperatures expected to cool off next week.
In addition to the heat, the smoke coming in from the British Columbia wildfires and Alberta wildfires are causing special air quality statements.
Fond-du-Lac, Wallaston Lake and Uranium City are only areas in Saskatchewan that are not under any warnings or advisories.
