The latest jobless numbers are out for July.
Stats Canada says fewer people were working in Saskatchewan in July as the province lost 7,700 full-time positions during the month.
In all, 567,800 people were earning a paycheque during the month.
The provincial jobless rate went up to 6.6 percent from 6.3 in June while the national rate dropped to 5.8 percent.
In Regina, the jobless rate remained at 6.5 percent
