People realize Currie Field’s “time has come.”
That’s from Regina Red Sox President, Gary Brotzel.
As the Sox and Mavericks come back to Regina for game three of the WMBL finals Tuesday night, Brotzel said some of Currie Field is starting to show its age.
“We do the best we can,” he said. “When we have those big crowds, we always get the odd complaint about this isn’t quite right, this isn’t working the way it should.”
One of those things is the bleachers.
“From what I understand already, there’s no premium green seats available,” he noted. “There’s a pretty good chance there’s going to be 500 people standing.”
