Starting the morning of Thursday August 16th, the city of Regina will be working to repair a water main break.
The break is causing flooding at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Ottawa Street.
Director of Water Works Pat Wilson said they originally learned of the break last Thursday, August 9th.
“We had originally scheduled the work for Saturday,” she said. “There are no customers out of water and at the time, it was a very small leak. We prefer to do those leaks on busy streets when we are not going to inconvenience traffic unnecessarily.”
Starting at 8:30 am, a part of eastbound Victoria Avenue will be blocked off and the water will be shut off between Saint John and Toronto Streets.
