They were all young girls who appeared to be in their early teens. My window was open and I could hear that the girls were laughing and having fun as they passed me. Although I see that scenario played out many times on my way to work, it always leaves me shaking my head. Don’t parents keep track of their kids anymore?
I didn’t have the cajones to do that when I was a kid. It never even crossed my mind. Besides, the last thing I wanted to do as a kid was ride my bike around the city at 3 o’clock in the morning. I’d rather sleep all night so I could get up and ride my bike around the city all day long.
Things haven’t changed much either.
Driving to work is still the last thing I want to be doing at 3 o’clock in the morning, but until I win that lottery, this will be the way it will be!
