A 20-year-old Lethbridge man is facing 17 counts of theft under $5,000 after an investigation into items being sold to him on an online “garage sale” website.
Regina Police say Justice Taylor, allegedly made multiple agreements with people selling items online, asking them to leave the merchandise sitting on the front step of their residence for him to pick up overnight and leave cash behind.
When the sellers woke up in the morning the item was gone, but no cash was left behind.
When questioned by the seller online Taylor would no longer respond.
Taylor makes his first court appearance Tuesday morning.
