Well, the sandwich experience is done. Thanks for voting in your “test the announcer iron stomach” voting process. The idea of sardines and peanut butter is reckless and was not a fan favourite. However, mixing Nutella with potato chips is okay – I would think that a healthy ripple chip would stand up more so than the weaker brother, the salt and vinegar chip! The turkey and banana could have been tossed to the side. I think our bread was dry! I’m laughing .. the bread wasn’t the problem.
Onward to our other selected sandwiches. Wieners and potato salad, graham crackers on white bread with maple syrup. Now that is a strange mix, don’t ya think! The cooked wiener and potato salad were okay, the cracker should have been crumbled and perhaps mixed with the syrup. But it was okay.
Jamie has just stated, “I was ill-equiped to make this sandwich. I had no rolling pin.” AND he microwaved the wieners… COME ON!
What food would you like to try that is NOT the norm!
Thanks to Amber Crawford owner of Crawford No Frills on 4th Avenue at the Rosemont Shopping Centre. Its a great little local grocery store. Stop in some time – you won’t find these sandwiches in their Deli Department.
