Regina Police are advising the public to be aware of a man at a high risk to re-offend sexually.
41 year old Jason Paul Thorne will move into a residence in the Heritage area, where his activities will be supervised and monitored. Thorne has a history of criminal offences, which sexual offenses, and has a history of re-offending. He poses a high risk of sexually re-offending against female children, police also note in a release.
Thorne is described as Indigenous, 5’9, about 170 pounds with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.
Thorne is subject to conditions under a long-term supervision order. Some of the those conditions include abstaining from drugs and alcohol, following clinician direction for psychological counselling, staying away from children under 18 and areas where children might gather and follow a treatment plan as directed by a parole supervisor.
