UPDATE – RCMP in Manitoba say their officers were responding to a break and enter at a residence near Onanole, north of Brandon around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night, when shots were fired at them from the home.

One male officer (42) was hit with a bullet and air lifted to a Winnipeg hospital with serious injuries, where he remains Thursday morning in stable condition.
Three suspects who will not be identified by police at this time are in custody.
A fourth suspect is still at large.
RCMP say if you see a Black 2005 GMC Sierra extended cab pick-up with the Manitoba license plate GBX-476 to call 911 immediatly .
