Agriculture minister David Marit says wildfires remain a concern in rural Saskatchewan despite recent rainfall.
Marit says there continues to be reports of stubble and grass fires even though the moisture helped to reduce the risk.
Marit is asking harvesters to be cautious.
He suggests farmers have either a fire extinguisher or a water tank in the field during combining.
For the most part, he says farmers are well prepared because no one wants to lose a combine in a fire or be injured.
