At some point over the next few hours, it is expected the Trans-Canada highway east of Regina will be busy with many coming from Manitoba to cheer on the Bombers in Sunday’s Labour Day Classic at what will be a sold-out Mosaic Stadium.
Saskatchewan RCMP are hoping those fans behave themselves, but they are letting it be known to Saskatchewan drivers to also behave, and to be on the lookout for those coming into the province from Manitoba this weekend with a well-aimed dig at the Riders rival and their fanbase.
We want to remind drivers to be careful on the roads this Labour Day Long Weekend, and to not drive distracted. Along with the normal elements on the road that demand your attention, this weekend’s roads will likely be full of Bombers fans driving with tears in their eyes. ^sm
