This Friday marks move in day for students attending the University of Regina.
Thousands of students from across the world, including some Brazil, Sri Lanka and Denmark, have begun moving their belongings into campus residence ahead of the upcoming school year.
One of the people greeting the students was University President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Vianne Timmons, who the University prides it’s self on being inclusive.
“I want the student from Moose Jaw to get an international education in her backyard,” she said. “That’s my goal. And the way to do that is to have a campus that reflects the world.”
As to what students experience will be like, Timmons noted they’ll get out of it what they put in.
“You honour us by choosing our university and get engaged!”
