This Sunday, I’m inviting you to take a position behind the teal ribbon and head out on a Walk of Hope in support of Ovarian Cancer Research and those that have survived the disease, those that are newly diagnosed or those that are mourning the loss of someone they loved.
Tomorrow morning two Regina women, that are important to keeping the pressure on in solving the ovarian cancer dilemma will be on with Lewis & Evans. Joanne Gasper and Anne Chase will be talking about the Walk of Hope and some of the other advances in research.
If you have yet to make a donation, you can. If you would like to enter a team or come along as a solo participant you can. The gates are open, all are welcome to walk and tell us your story. Maybe it’s too painful and fresh, but that’s what this is about; support. Join the movement on Sunday, we’ll rally together in support at the Rick Hansen Park off of McCarthy Boulevard.
Lots of nifty things to do, terrific people to meet and inspiring women and men to interact with. Come Walk With Us!
