Regina Police statistics show that gun related crime is on the rise in the city over the first half of 2018.
Police said in a report earlier this week that 90 violent occurrences involving guns were reported between January and July.
Thats almost 17 per-cent more than the same time period in 2017.
However July saw six less incidents in 2018 than in 2017.
At the same time seizures of firearms rose from 35 to 45.
