A portion of the Trans-Canada was closed in both directions near Herbert on Sunday, after a vehicle lost control and knocked a live power line onto the highway.
Morse RCMP say they closed the roadway for around three hours Sunday afternoon and evening while SaskPower cleaned up the scene.
Police did not say if the person driving the vehicle that lost control was injured or not, or if any charges are possible.
Traffic is moving in both directions Monday morning, but police are advising drivers to use caution as SaskPower may still be working along the road.
Herbert is about 47 kilometers east of Swift Current.
