The Saskatchewan Roughriders were off Monday. They won’t get back onto the turf at Mosaic Stadium until Tuesday as they start preparations for a game Saturday night at home against Ottawa—a game where the team will be looking for its fifth straight win.
Many are wondering about the status of quarterback Zach Collaros who left the 32-27 win over Winnipeg Saturday in the 2nd half after taking a huge hit from Bomber Jeff Hecht that put him in the concussion protocol.
“3 Down Nation’s” Justin Dunk is reporting Collaros has passed all concussion protocol tests and that barring any setbacks should be under center for Saturday’s game.
Collaros missed time earlier this season due to a concussion sustained in Ottawa which is the 3rd time in his CFL career that he has missed time with a head injury.
With Collaros in the lineup, the Riders are 5-2 this season.
