A Saskatoon man suffered life-threatening injuries early Monday morning after he allegedly set himself on fire.
Saskatoon police say they were called to a home just after 1 AM after receiving reports of man threatening to harm himself.
The man was standing outside when police arrived holding a gas can and a lighter. Before they could get the man into custody, he lit a fire.
He was taken to Royal University Hospital before being transferred to the Burn Unit at an Edmonton hospital.
Police say the 28 year old was thought to be involved in some kind of domestic dispute.
Charges will not be laid.
