Broadview School in Broadview was placed in a Hold and Secure protocol Tuesday morning.
The K-12 school underwent the security measure after a threat was made online against it.
The threat was made towards BHS, which is the acronym used for the school.
Alana Johnson with the Prairie Valley School Division said RCMP responded promptly to the threat.
“Police were called in by the principal. They investigated it and the Hold and Secure was eventually lifted after 10:30 am.”
RCMP said the threat was actually directed to a school in Brunswick, Georgia.
Parents of students at the school have been advised of the protocol and no direct threat was made to the school in Saskatchewan.
