Work is now underway to remove the tipis from in front of the Saskatchewan Legislature.
Last Friday, a Court of Queen’s Bench judge ordered the Justice For Our Stolen Children camp to vacate Wascana Park immediately.

On Tuesday, efforts continued to remove the remaining 10 tipis on the grounds.
“We are definitely concerned that if people don’t know where to find us that families in desperate need may not be able to access the supports they need,” said camp spokeswoman Robyn Pitawanakwat.
At one point, 15 tipis were pitched in the camp, which was established 196 days ago to protest several issues, including injustice and Indigenous children in care.
