A farmer from Kyle has had strong response after inviting politicians to take a trip with her on the combine during harvest.
Megz Reynolds posted the invitation on twitter and suggested other farmers do the same to expand dialogue with consumers and the non-farming public.
She says Premier Scott Moe talked about sustainability on the farm as well as ensuring public confidence and trust in agriculture.
Reynolds says NDP leader Ryan Meili discussed issues around rural mental health and child care.
She also had discussions with federal politicians.
Reynolds is encouraging other farmers to expand a dialogue with the non-farming public and politicians.
