Regina Police have one man in custody after threats of a firearm were made outside the St. Luke Alternate School Thursday afternoon.
Police say around 3:15 p.m. they responded to a call that came from the 600 block of Elphinstone Street, where they found a suspect near by who ended up not being armed, he was arrested without further incident.
Due to the nature of the threat the school did enter a “secure the building mode”.
However students had already been dismissed for the day.
Officers say charges are still pending against the man, who’s name was not made public.
