The descent of Summer 2018 has begun. Actually, it probably started a week ago. Cool nights and the days not reaching their full potential. Now, it’s the rain, the leaves rapidly changing colour and falling to gum up the eaves and the gutters. The chill while refreshing, is here too soon!
Some of the things you might look forward to as our next season ascends: Happy Hollow just outside of Lumsden. This premier Corn Maze and family farm is a fun place to take your family exploring. There are still two Roughrider home games to attend. The next one will be Thanksgiving Monday when Edmonton is in town. The pre-game Coors Light Party in the Park, a trip to the Riders Store and just getting into the stadium are always exciting. During the October 8th Family Day game, watch for Sponge Bob Square Pants and Paw Patrol. The final home game is the Cameco Touchdown for Dreams Pink Game. Mark October 27th on the calendar.
The Regina Pats get their 2018/19 season underway this Friday and Saturday beginning with the Prince Albert Raiders. The home game on Saturday features the season opening BBQ with A & W at the Regina Armoury – 1600 Elphinstone Street. Listen to win tickets for the Regina Pats all this week on 620 CKRM. (Saskatchewan loves a 50/50 – the Pats start the season with $60,000 50/50 AND that’s before the game begins!!)
Who can forget Tim Horton’s #SMILECOOKIE week. Every dollar from the cookie donated back into the community!
Well underway is lottery season. Two different lotteries – two different payouts. Hospitals of Regina Foundation Fall Home Lottery!
