Three restaurants in Regina’s east end have been evacuated due to a natural gas leak.
SaskEnergy said a contractor that was doing work in the area, broke a natural gas line at Eastgate Drive and Victoria avenue, causing the evacuation.
At this time, customers will not be losing any natural gas services.
However, that may change depending on the progress of the repairs.
The latest update from SaskEnergy indicates gas will be shut off to the pipeline by 6:00 pm.
