Capital Pointe will be built after all, according to Westgate Properties.
The firm, which owns the Capital Pointe area on the corner of Albert Street and Victoria Avenue, have assured the city of Regina the project will be complete by 2022.
On August 22nd, the Saskatchewan Building and Accessibility Standards Appeal Board gave Westgate a deadline of September 30th to either fill the hole, build permanent reinforcements, or start the project.

Shoring and construction will need to begin by December 8th, with construction starting no later than April 1st, 2019.
The project has seen several delays since the project was first announced in 2009.
