An 89 year old man is dead following a car crash near Unity.
An initial investigation done by RCMP indicates the man’s vehicle crossed over Highway 14 into the path of an eastbound Ford Flex.
The man was taken to the Unity Health Centre, where he was confirmed dead. The 63 year old driver of the Ford from Saskatoon was also taken to the same health centre for treatment. He was later released.
Alcohol at this time isn’t believed to be a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
