The Regina Pats fell to 0-4-0-0 on the young WHL season Sunday with a 2-1 loss to the Moose Jaw Warriors at the Brandt Centre.
Assistant Coach Brad Herauf said despite the loss, the team played well.
“It was the best showing of the year for us, and a complete 60 minute effort,” Herauf said after the game. “In the first period there was ups and downs when they got their goals, but I think even the two goals they scored were just little break downs that we’ll fix as the year goes on,” he added.
Koby Morrisseau scored his first of the year for the Pats, while max Paddock turned aside 31 shots on Regina’s net.
The Pats will be in Swift Current Friday night, to face a Broncos team also looking for its first win of the young season (0-4-0-0).
