Though the 2020 Saskatchewan provincial election is still more than a year out, the current party governing the Land of The Living Skies is already preparing themselves for it.
Premier Scott Moe received the Saskatchewan Party’s nomination last Thursday night to run in the riding of Rosthern-Shellbrook.

“We’re accountable in the years between elections to the people of the province, the people that we serve. We’re very, very aware of that.”
Though there is time before the election occurs, the Premier noted his party will be prepared.
“We will be ready with our party infrastructure,” stated Moe. “We will be ready with a strong slate of candidates to come into communities across the province and ask for their support as we go into the election in 2020 and to contrast the differences in policy between the current governing Saskatchewan Party and the New Democratic Party.”
The Sask. Party has won the Rosthern-Shellbrook seat in the last four provincial elections. Moe himself has won it the last two times, most recently in 2016, when he received over 71% of the vote from the riding.
