Environment Canada has issued Freezing Rain Warnings in southwestern Saskatchewan Tuesday morning.
The city of Swift Current and Maple Creek are both included in that warning, as is the Cypress Hills region.
“Bands of freezing rain are moving through southwestern Saskatchewan this morning. This freezing rain will end near mid morning as temperatures rise above the freezing mark,” Environment Canada said on it’s website Tuesday.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays.
