A 14-year-old, two 15-year-olds and two 16-year-olds face multiple charges after a truck was stolen from a home in the city’s eat end Wednesday morning.
Regina police say they were called to the home on the 2600 block of Truesdale Drive just after 2 a.m with a report that a Ford F-150 truck had been stolen from a driveway with another vehicle and the home being damaged.
A short time later, the vehicle was found on Eastgate Drive. A spike belt was deployed, but the truck didn’t stop.
The vehicle was eventually found on the 1500 block of Rae Street. The Canine unit was called in and helped in the arrest of the five—one girl and four boys.
The five are facing charges of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime. Three of the five were also charged with breach.
