A local brewing company is hoping to raise some awareness and funds for a worthy cause.
Rebellion Brewing is selling a Pink Guava sour ale to raise money for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.
The Regina-based brewery raises money for cancer research every October, something spokeperson Matthew Barton is proud of.
“Every dollar raised will stay in Saskatchewan to help people in Saskatchewan.”
Barton also spoke about the product itself, saying the beer is quite unique.
“It’s going to be tropical, fruity and a little tart,” he said. “It’s really nice, light and refreshing.”
Rebellion raises funds for local charities and initiatives, with more than $14,000 raised to date.
