A Quebec man and Winnipeg woman were arrested by Regina Police on Friday after making a large purchase with with a stolen credit card.
Officers say they were called to a hotel on the 700 block of Albert Street after employees reported the couple as suspicious.
Police arrested 25-year-old Steve Gagne, and 26-year-old Angilee Grisdale after pulling their vehicle over on 5th Avenue a short time later.
The fraudulently purchased merchandise as well as numerous fake ID’s were recovered.
Both accused face charges that include identity theft and possession of a forged document with intent.
The two suspects were in court Tuesday morning.
