The Regina Farmers Market is moving indoors this weekend, and this year, they’re heading to a new building.
Vendors will be utilizing the Core Ritchie Neighbourhood Centre for their winter markets to sell their Saskatchewan-made and grown products.
Operations manager Holly Laird said the farmers market is excited to get into the new building.
“Completely accessible, so great for folks with limited mobility, and it’s just a very welcoming, great space.”
Along with accessibility, size was also a factor in the decision to move.
Laird says customers will get a chance to check out the new venue starting Saturday.
“We go every Saturday right up until December 22nd, 9 AM to 1 PM, and we’ll be at the Core Ritchie every Saturday.”
Since 1975, the Regina farmers market has provided residents in and around the Queen City the opportunity to purchase products either made, baked, grown or designed in Saskatchewan.
