Saturday night is meant for….bowling, not fighting! This past weekend co-workers and I bowled two very solid games at the Golden Mile Lanes in Regina. It just happened to be a glow bowling night and if you’ve ever wanted to know if you’ve been doing your laundry the correct way, I’d suggest going to the glow bowl night under the purple (or black) lights. Saturday evening I learned I have NOT been doing my laundry correctly.
Apparently you’re not supposed to pour the liquid laundry soap/fabric softener all over the clothes when you do laundry. Did you know that? I didn’t! For the past two years I have been pouring liquid detergent all over my clothes in the washer which has led to some unflattering and invisible looking stains on my pants. Who knew there was an actual spot on the washer where you’re supposed to pour the detergent so that it doesn’t stain your clothes. Not this guy! He had no clue until he went home after bowling and actually took five seconds to study his washing machine.
So, thanks to glow bowling and the never ending teasing of co-workers I learned a very valuable tip this past weekend. Pay attention when doing laundry or you’ll end up getting very weird looks at the next glow bowling night. I think this qualifies as a #bachelorproblems moment.
